The connection between zeros and factors is within this step: When you find the zeros, you must then put it into factor form. For example, when one of your zeros is x=-2, the factor would be (x+2). Division helps us factor a polynomial because after find how many zeros we need in the degree of the first number, we graph to find the easy zeros, then we synthetically divide to get an easier polynomial.
