I absolutely love my motivational poster. It's simple, but effective. The background photo of the girl is actually a picture I took of my youngest sister, Lana. Before starting this, I thought a lot about this project and decided to aim the purpose of this towards feminism because it's something I feel strongly about. In Photoshop, I inserted the picture, then decided to make it black and white in the adjustments panel. I then used the quick selection tool to select her eye, and painted it to make it the original color. To create the pink rectangle under the text, I used the rectangle tool, then dropped the opacity to 31%. I went with pink for both the rectangle and text to capture the girly theme. For my text I used an emboss, stroke, and drop shadow. All in all, I loved this project, and I loved the outcome. I learned a lot about text styles as well.
